Mit "Purify" erscheint die bereits dritte Single aus UNMAPs aktuellem Album "Pressures". Gleichzeitig ist es das zornigste Stück der Band um Künstlerin Mariechen Danz und Produzent Alexander Stolze (Bodi Bill, Dictaphone). Herausfordernd und wütend baut es seine drohende Spannung über einem schweren, schleppenden, scheinbar kaputten Beat auf, um sich später in einem schwindelerregenden Strudel Bahn zu brechen.

"Im Text geht es darum, alles Negative, die Wut, den Zorn zu bündeln und heraus zu lassen." sagt Mariechen Danz. "Und sich dann davon zu befreien."

Die irisch-deutsche Band um die Künstlerin Mariechen Danz und Alexander Stolze (Bodi Bill, Dictaphone) folgt auch mit "Purify" dem auf dem Album entworfenen Ansatz von aktueller Popmusik aus treibendem Electro-Soul, modernem R&B, Conscious Hip Hop und bedacht gesetzter Electronica. Dunkel pulsierender Kammer-Pop von eigenartig verstörender Intimität.

With "Purify" the third single from UNMAPs latest album "Pressures" is released. At the same time it is the angriest song of the band around artist Mariechen Danz and producer Alexander Stolze (Bodi Bill, Dictaphone). "The text is about bringing together the negativity, the anger and the complaint and letting it go," says singer Mariechen Danz. "To purify oneself from it."

Irish-german band UNMAP draws their own sketch of contemporary popmusic. On their debut album "Pressures" the quartett gathered around artist Mariechen Danz and musician Alexander Stolze (Bodi Bill, Dictaphone) mixes driving electro soul, modern R&B, Conscious Hip Hop und deliberately chosen Electronica to gloomy, vibrant chamber pop of disturbing intimacy.
